About Us
Fixpoint is me — Andy — and my wife Nicole. We run this repair shop out of our home because life’s expensive, the corporate world doesn’t care about families, and we wanted something more real.
We didn’t start Fixpoint because it was part of some 5-year business plan. We started it because everything keeps getting more expensive, and punching a clock for someone else stopped making sense. We wanted more control over our time, our work, and our future — even if that means juggling repairs between nap schedules, snack requests, and the occasional full-blown toddler meltdown.
If you’re a parent too, you get it. We’re building this thing in the margins — during the quiet hours and the chaos — because that’s what this season of life demands. And honestly? We wouldn’t trade it.

Who We Are
We’re Andy and Nicole — a husband-and-wife team running Fixpoint together from our home.
I (Andy) handle most of the technical work right now. I’ve been fixing computers for over 20 years — long before I ever got paid in actual money. In my 20s, the going rate was usually a six-pack or a box of donuts, and honestly, I wasn’t complaining. These days I bring a lot more experience to the table — but that same spirit of helping people out hasn’t changed.
Nicole handles scheduling, remote sessions, and keeps things running on the customer side — and she’s training up on the hands-on repair side too. We want Fixpoint to stay a true team effort, and that means both of us being ready to step in when something breaks.
We’re building this business around our kids, our values, and a shared belief that honest work and real service still go a long way.
Why "Fixpoint"?
In programming, a fixpoint is something that holds steady — even when everything else is changing.
That felt right.
Tech can be frustrating. Expensive. Overwhelming. If you're here, you're probably dealing with something that broke, slowed down, or just stopped working when you needed it most. We get it — we’ve been there too.
Fixpoint is about being a steady hand in the middle of all that. A place where you know who you're talking to. A place that keeps it simple, honest, and human.
If that’s a vibe you can dig — we’ll get along just fine.
